Despite the global economic slowdown in 2020, the volume of deal activity across private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) in Africa remained steady, with more than 250 PE deals and more than 300 VC deals reported across the continent in 2020.
AVCA, in partnership with all the regional and national PE and VC associations across Africa – AMIC, ATIC, EAVCA, EPEA, PEVCA and SAVCA – is hosting its second annual regional summit to explore the trends that are shaping fundraising, deal-making and exits in Africa’s private investment landscape.
